GTA v Internet Connection Required Fix – Here we can see “Unable to access Rockstar servers. activation of GTA v requires an internet connection”

Rockstar Servers not accessible (Solution Found!)

This was the problem I was experiencing. I watched every video and read every thread on the internet, but it didn’t help.

So I began to play with my firewall and finally fixed the issue. It seems that GTA V saves your previous firewall settings when you reinstall it. I don’t know, I’m not sure.

But ya

Step 1Start typing by clicking the start button in the rock bottom left corner. Allow an app to be accessed through Windows Firewall

Step 2Click on “Accept” to open it.change details“. It will highlight.

Step 3Scroll down to see “Grand Theft Auto V“You would probably HAVE A SHITLOAD (like 4 or 5 lol) to verify that every box has been checked.

Step 4To be safe, make sure you check the boxes if you see GTA V and not grand larceny Auto V. I have every box checked, so I know it works.

I hope this helps you guys. My ass got stressed out, lol.

Questions from the user:

  1. Rockstar servers not accessible on non-Steam versions GTAV on PC

Question: I am getting an error message that says “Unable to access Rockstar servers”. Activation requires an internet connection. Check your connection and click Retry to confirm or Cancel to cancel. My non-Steam GTAV copy can’t be started on my PC. I was able to check-in previously and had activated the sport. What can I do to fix this problem?

Answer: If the Social Club version is listed in the lower right-hand corner on the error screen, it means that your version of Social Club has to be updated to Rockstar Games Launcher.

Install the latest version of Rockstar Games Launcher, and allow the sport to update. This will fix the problem and allow you to access Rockstar servers.

  1. Grand larceny Auto V is causing me problems. It says it can’t access Rockstar servers. GTA V activation requires an internet connection, despite my connection working with all other things. Thus far, I even have tried reinstall, changing DNS, flushing DNS, resetting IP, resetting the router, mobile hotspot, offline mode, reinstall social club, VPN, and launching as a non-steam game through steam (I have a retail disc version btw). I also deactivated all anti-virus, including windows defender. Just recently, I reinstalled it. I have tried everything to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?
  1. Hello guys. Hi guys. I’ve even done it, and I have received a download link. I then logged in to a social network and attempted to install GTA V.

It states, however, that it is “Unable to connect to Rockstar servers.” GTA V activation requires an internet connection. Check your connection and click Retry to confirm or Cancel to cancel.

I am certain that I have an internet connection, and it is at an honest speed. To see if my firewall settings were blocked, I tried to access it. GTAV isn’t showing up because it hasn’t been installed yet. I tried every suggestion on Google, including deleting the folder for social clubs and trying to allow it through firewalls.
