You can configure every aspect of Comodo Internet Security’s behavior, appearance, and operation using the ‘Advanced Settings. You can set top-level preferences for the interface, updates, and event logging in the ‘General Settings’ section. Advanced users can access the Security Settings section to configure the Antivirus, Firewall, and Defense+ modules. The ‘Security Settings’ area lets you create custom virus scans, create virus exclusions, and Firewall rules. You can also modify sandbox behavior and define network zones. It also allows you to specify how the file rating system handles trusted and untrusted documents.
To open “Advanced Settings”:
- If you’re on the CIS homepage screen, click the ‘Tasks arrow
- Click on ‘Advanced tasks’ and then ‘Open advanced settings’
The Advanced Settings panel will now be available.
