How to hide Chrome Address Bar?

How can I hide the Chrome address bar? You can hide the Chrome address bar by pressing the F11 key or using the Zoom feature in Google Chrome. These two methods hide all tabs, Google menu, and other information. However, they hide the content which can also cause inconvenience.

But don’t worry. Here are the two alternatives to the “Chrome hide address bar”:

Method 1: Increase Desktop or Create Shortcut

It is quite easy to cover the address bar on Google Chrome in this Way. These are the steps.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome and go to the page you want to cover.

Step 2 Click on the Google menu (three dots), in the upper right corner.

Step 3 Choose more tools > increase Desktop

Step 4 Click on the Increased Desktop or Create shortcut windows, and tick the box of Open as Window. Then click Add or Create.

Step 5:Return to your Desktop and you’ll find a replacement icon.

Step 6Right-click on the icon and choose Open.

You will not see the address bar if you open the page in Google Chrome.

Note: To see the address bar, click on the Google menu and choose the option “Open in …”,”. The address bar will then disappear.

Step 2: Enable Compact Navigation

You can also disable the Chrome address bar and enable Compact Navigation.

Step 1 – Type in the address bar of Chrome and hit Enter.

Step 2 Scroll down until you see Compact Navigation.

Step 3 – Enable Compact Navigation and let Chrome restart to access this feature.

Step 4: After Chrome has opened, right-click on one of the tabs and select Hide the Toolbar.

The address bar should disappear after you have completed the four steps. Click the tab to access the address bar once again. If you don’t use it within a few seconds, the address bar will automatically disappear.
