LinkedIn provides users with a limited number of InMail credits each month – this enables you to reach out directly to second and third degree connections more effectively than by regular messages.

LinkedIn used to recognize high response rates with additional free InMail credits; but no longer.

Now is the time to work harder at attaining an excellent response rate and earn more InMail credits, but how?

1. Get a Premium Account

As any LinkedIn user can attest, Inmail credits can run out rapidly when used for lead generation on this platform. Therefore, it’s essential that you keep an eye on your credit status in order to avoid overspending on credits.

Log into your account and view how many Inmail credits are currently available to you – this number is updated monthly, and can be found under “Me” section of your account.

If you want more InMail credits, upgrading your account or joining groups containing prospects could help. Doing this allows you to send messages without using up all your credits, though response rates will determine exactly how many back. Previously LinkedIn offered different reward systems; they now focus more on response rates as a measure.

2. Upgrade Your Account

Prior to LinkedIn InMail Policy changes, users would receive free messages whenever their message went unanswered, leading them to increase their free InMail messages significantly – yet LinkedIn recognized that this policy could easily be exploited by spammers to send mass inMails at will and abuse their privilege.

Since these changes were implemented, LinkedIn only permits you to receive a limited amount of InMail Credits each month – any additional ones must be purchased and/or obtained in other ways. Luckily there are ways you can increase the total number of InMails per month!

One way is to join groups your prospects belong to, which will enable you to send group messages without using InMail Credits. Another method is using Linked Helper – an InMail sender tool which will allow you to exceed LinkedIn limits while saving both time and money with its mass mailing feature; it parses all those eligible to receive InMail messages before organizing them into an efficient mailing list.

3. Join Groups

LinkedIn is an invaluable resource for students searching for jobs, and professionals looking to distinguish themselves in their respective fields. Furthermore, its platform serves as an invaluable asset for companies trying to acquire new clients or customers.

While free LinkedIn users are limited to communicating with only first-degree connections, premium members have access to LinkedIn Inmail for communicating with second and third-degree connections – giving them access to an even wider pool of potential customers.

Now that LinkedIn has adjusted their Inmail policy and provides users with a set number of free messages every month, this change has provided some relief for its users. While joining groups allows you to reach your target audience without draining your credits as messages sent to group members don’t require credits – you could even use Hyperise editor to personalize messages and increase response rates!

4. Send Unanswered Messages

Before LinkedIn made their recent Inmail policy changes, sending unanswered messages would give users free credits – giving you more chances to spread out messages for free and increase response rates. This was an ideal way of increasing message send volume without increasing costs or potentially receiving replies.

To send an InMail, navigate to someone’s profile and click “Message” underneath their name. When the messaging window appears, it will detail exactly how many InMail Credits remain; then when ready, type an engaging subject line before writing out your message.

Be sure to keep your InMails short and personal for maximum response rates. Focus on topics relevant to them, while seeking their opinion or advice. This will encourage more replies while saving on Inmail Credits in the process.
