So another famous mistake that Android users face is Google Playstore’s Error 923. When you try to download or upgrade applications from the Google Play store, these errors mostly occur, but all it does is show the Progress bar and do nothing, and then on your Android phone you get Error 923. Another popular Google Play Store Error 492 has already been addressed. This is a related mistake and the solutions are somewhat identical as well.
A couple of days ago, he changed the software on his Android phone, but it won’t do something, and then he saw Error 923 Error on his phone after leaving it like it was for a few hours. He managed to fix this problem, so I’d like to list a few ways to fix it below.
Ways to Fix Error 923 Google Play store error
Method 1: Clearing Cache & Data.
Due to the Google Play App Cache on your phone, you can get Error 923 in the Play store. So, first of all, I would recommend that you clear your Play store app’s cache and info. To do so, take the basic steps below.
Go to Configuration > Administrator of Apps > Google Play Store > Simple Cache & Data
You will also want to clear the cache and data of the Play Store Service much like the above steps.
Simply reboot your phone after completing the above procedures, then attempt to download or upgrade the software that got your mistake.
Method 2: Uninstalling Google Play Store.
Another way to repair Error 923 is to uninstall and then reinstall the Play Store app on your computer.
Like every other game, you must uninstall the Play store (If you phone is rooted then its even better).
Simply update Google Play store APK file on your phone until uninstallation completes. You can grab the apk file from one of AndroidPolice.com’s trusted sources.
The apk file is downloaded after installation. Simply instal the Play Store, then try downloading/updating applications to see if the error persists.
