In August 2017, Nikon officially launched the Nikon D3400. This is a DSLR 24.2 megapixel camera that comes with an F-mount lens. The formal marketing aspect was for beginners as well as DSLR hobbyists after its launch. The camera is the Nikon D3300’s successor. Based on the body/lens kit combinations, this camera also varies from country to country.
This camera comes with an AF-P 18-55 mm kit lens in a lot of countries. This even involves image stabilization, which is now a fairly popular feature. This camera comes in color variants of black and red. There were a lot of features in this camera that made it stand out from its predecessor. It has a longer battery life, higher ISO, better infrared and is fairly light as well. The camera also has an excellent Nikon DX CMOS-format sensor.
There are a lot of great features this camera has. The shutter option is one of the features quite popular among camera lovers nowadays. In a short period, it helps you take a lot of pictures simultaneously. To click something that is in motion or any aspect that requires a complete focus, you can use this option. This helps you to choose the best option to get the exact one you want from the number of images. You can also use this option to click on multiple photos of any particular moment to make it quite a unique movie. However, you can use this function in different ways and on multiple occasions.
The buffer is an essential part of this. You should also understand the information about it to understand the details of this aspect. The storage tank, temporary in nature for the camera, is the buffer. It is the location where your camera can store different image data to fully record it on the computer’s memory card. For the user, this system can be quite beneficial. This feature allows you to get a lot of images or continuous images that limit the waiting time between shots in order to eventually store the image in the camera memory. This helps to improve your camera’s efficiency by increasing the number of images you can take in a short period of time so that you do not miss the timeframe of the image.
What Does [R 04] on Nikon D3400 Display Mean
To check the image you want to take, the Nikon D3400 is quite a spectacular camera with a large digital display for the user. If you look at the screen or the viewfinder, it will be able to show you the exact number of images that can fit into the memory card while taking or framing the shot. The initial value, which is just at the right end of the viewfinder, can be seen in brackets. This value changes even after the shutter button has been pressed. This value primarily shows you how many images to store on your memory card, and then shows the number of images that can fit inside the camera’s memory buffer. After halfway, you press the shutter button on the top of the camera to click pictures, this aspect occurs.
To help you understand it, those values are given in codes. For example, take the [R 04] value to determine that there are four images that can fit into the memory buffer of the camera. The camera will automatically disable the shutter button after the memory buffer becomes full. Yet, the camera is more than able to keep up with your speed.
