Bitdefender is a great choice for antivirus software. We will explain how to disable Bitdefender if you have a reason to do so. Before you do this, however, make sure to determine if there are alternatives.

Start your Finder, and then choose Move from the menu bar to permanently disable BitDefender on a Mac device. Select Utilities, and then conduct the BitDefenderUninstaller. When prompted, click on Uninstall and enter your Administrator password. Once you receive confirmation that the program has been uninstalled click on Macintosh HD, Library, and then move the BitDefender folder to Trash.
How to enable BitDefender
You might be facing a technical problem in which BitDefender keeps refusing to work, or BitDefender must simply be enabled after it has been exported. You can reenable BitDefender by removing all steps that were used to disable BitDefender. This will allow you to access every module you disabled. It might be helpful to keep track of what you disabled to help you decide what to enable and disable.
If BitDefender is still not working, there are other options. If you haven’t already, reboot. If that fails, you can flip the switch from the Action Center. Start BitDefender, then choose Settings. Next, check that On-Access Scanning has been turned on. You should also check each module to make sure that everything has been turned on.
