Pandora is the most popular internet radio service. Pandora creates customized stations that are tailored to each user’s tastes.
Subscribers to the service know that there are times when the application may have problems that prevent you from listening to music.
Accessing the service via an iPhone, Android, Windows mobile, Android or iPad can cause an error. The error code 9 is a common problem that Pandora users have encountered.

Pandora classifies most of its errors as either general or technical. The error code 9 falls under technical issues. This error code is usually specific to the device that you use to access the service.
This problem is most commonly reported by people using Android devices. It occurs when the Android app stops playing music or streaming radio.

Here are some solutions if Pandora displays error code 9 when you try to access it from your device.
1. Clear Pandora Data
Clear your Android device’s Pandora data and then try again. Follow these steps.
- Go to settings
- Scroll down and tap on to locate it. Apps

Clear both cache and data before you return to Pandora. Log in to your account with the same credentials that you used to register.
You can try again to play the songs, and you will be amazed at what happens.
The steps you follow may differ depending on your device and the Android OS. You can clear the cache and data if the app can be accessed from the settings.
2. Install the app on your phone’s local memory
Install the app from your SD card. When you install the app to an SD card, there will be performance problems.
You should have at least 500MB of storage space to use the app.
Your last 500MB of data will not be used by the application when you download stations from your device. You will be unable to download any content once it has reached the limit.
There may also be errors that the service is unable to correct.
3. Turn off RAM manager app or battery saver
Pandora will be stopped from downloading stations and running in the background when the battery saver switch is turned on
The location-dependent nature of the app means that the battery saver will not use location services if the screen is turned off. Turn it off, then turn it back on and open the app.
Consider making exceptions for internet radio services if you have a RAM manager application. Pandora is an app that uses a lot of memory.
The RAM manager will stop all background apps that consume more memory and terminate active applications.
Try uninstalling Pandora and reinstalling it. If the error code 9 is displayed, you can try again. To refresh the app, you can also clear cache and data from settings.
