A long time ago, local TV guides didn’t offer the option to view NFL RedZone. Things have been made easier because of a deal between NFL Network and YouTube TV to include Sports Plus as an add-on package on the platform.
RedZone, a broadcast that highlights live NFL Network games, allows fans to watch hours of live-action.
NFL Media and YouTube signed an agreement in 2020 to offer the two NFL-based channels to YouTube users. As part of the Sports Plus addon, NFL RedZone now appears on YouTube TV channels.
Subscribe to the add-on and you can stream NFL games directly on your TV, Android, iOS, or Chromecast device.
YouTube: What does this all mean?
YouTube TV, Fubo TV, and Fubo TV are the only live streaming services that broadcast NFL games. Hulu Plus and Hulu Plus offer local channels, but no NFL media.
Subscribers have the option to view the games on national networks such as FOX Sports, ESPN, and NBC Sports.
YouTube TV offers local channels in many markets but does not offer CBS or FOX in all markets.
Subscribers used to be able to choose from different NFL games depending on the location and time of broadcast.
What is the cost of NFL RedZone on YouTube TV?
The NFL RedZone cost for YouTube TV is $10.99 per month.
NFL RedZone is only available through YouTube TV. Users will need to first subscribe to the streaming service for $64.99 per month to get RedZone. The monthly cost is $75.98.
The good news is that the $10.99 price doesn’t apply only to NFL RedZone, but also to other sports channels. Apart from RedZone and six other channels, subscribers can also subscribe to the Sports Plus package.
These include Fox College Sports, Fox NFL Network, Fox Soccer Plus, and MAVTV Motorsports Network. TVG, GolTV, and Stadium are all available at the mentioned cost.
YouTube TV Sports Package is an add-on. You will not see an increase in your monthly subscription until they add it to their account. The cost of purchasing the seven channels in a package is less than buying them separately.
All subscribers who subscribe to the YouTube TV base package can access NFL Network, one of seven Sports Plus channels.
How to add Sports Plus on YouTube TV
Sport Plus, a new package for YouTube TV subscribers that provides access to a variety of sports channels at no extra cost, such as NFL RedZone, is now available.
YouTube TV already has the package, so most subscribers are wondering how they can subscribe.
Once you activate your YouTube TV subscription, you can add the sports package by following these steps:
- Visit the YouTube TV app or website
- Click on the profile picture in the upper right corner of your screen
- Click on Settings and then Membership. There are many add-ons that you can purchase on the platform.
- Look for the box beside Sports Plus
- Select Agree
You will receive $10.99 extra on your TV bill immediately after you subscribe to YouTube TV Sports Package.
Additionally, you have immediate access to all NFL RedZone games, including basketball, rugby, hockey, and soccer as well as live motorsports and horse racing.
Please note that you have the option to cancel your subscription at any time.
Is there a free trial of NFL RedZone on YouTube TV
Yes. Yes. After you sign up for the Sports Plus package with NFL RedZone, you’ll get a free 7-day trial. You will then need to pay to access the add-on.
YouTube TV’s cloud DVR allows you to record and view your favorite sporting events.
When recording NFL RedZone content you can’t pick a single event, but you can record the entire eight-hour-long program.
It’s a great move to add NFL RedZone to YouTube TV. This is something that YouTube TV subscribers have been waiting for for years.
You should not be concerned if you activate Sports Plus but NFL RedZone does not appear on YouTube TV.
