Hisense offers the best software support, in addition to making great TVs. Software updates allow users to access new features, and more importantly, fix common problems.
You should therefore check for software updates to ensure a better viewing experience.
What software is used by Hisense TV? Hisense TVs use VIDAA U software, which allows you to access multiple streaming services.
How do you update it?
Three ways to update Hisense Smart TV software
Three main methods are available to update a Hisense Smart TV.
Option 1: Direct update
It is simple to update your firmware if you have an internet connection for your Hisense Smart TV. No matter what model your TV is, this Hisense TV firmware hack works fast.
Before you begin the process, make sure that your internet connection is reliable and fast.
Complete the Hisense H8F firmware upgrade:
- Go to settings on your Hisense TV
- Navigate toSupportOption
- Scroll down to the last option. System Update.
- ClickGet Firmware Update
- The TV will automatically install a new version if it detects it.
You can enable “Auto Firmware Updating” on your TV’s settings page if it is running the most recent software. It saves time by allowing the Hisense TV firmware to be automatically updated whenever it becomes available.
Option 2: Hisense TV software updates via USB
It is possible to update your Smart TV software via USB, even if you don’t have internet access.
It takes longer to update the firmware via USB than the other options. This process will not work with all-flash drives.
FAT16 and FAT32 are the recommended formats for the USB Flash Drive. You must have sufficient space on the flash drive to store the downloaded firmware.
Once you are satisfied that your USB flash drive meets all requirements:
- Download Hisense TV software from the Hisense website.
- Extract the file from your computer.
- Copy theUpgrade_loader.pkgFile on your USB flash drive
- Change your TVOFF
- The USB flash can be placed on your Hisense TV
- It can be switched
- Use the standby button remote control
- Continue holding the button until you see the TV logo, followed by the software UpdateNotification
- This process can take up to 15 minutes
The TV will then restart after the process is completed. If the Hisense Smart TV does not update or restarts twice, you can repeat the process.
Option 3: Contact your local Hisense Customer Support
The two options below may not be possible if your Hisense model is an older model. For assistance, contact local Hisense Customer Support.
You may be asked by the representative to bring the set to their store or to mail you a USB stick containing a software update.
You can use Option #2 to update firmware if they send you a USB stick.
Updating the firmware is recommended, whether you are looking to fix bugs or enjoy a better viewing experience.
You can update the software via USB or directly, just like other brands. It all depends on how fast your TV has access to the internet.
