How To Fix IBM Thinkpad? – Here we can see “No Internet Secured Windows 10”

Most wireless networking problems in Windows 10 can be fixed easily. Sometimes, however, you might encounter the “No Internet secure” message. This error pops up from the system tray and refers to dragging with the wireless connection or configuration.

Although it’s frustrating, this error is relatively easy to fix. If you can recognize your mistake, it shouldn’t take you long to urge yourself back online.

Seven solutions have been prepared for you to fix the “No Internet, Secured” Windows 10 error.

What does “No Internet, Secured?” mean?

The error message may appear in the System Tray section of the Windows 10 taskbar. Perhaps as a notification. But what does “No Internet, Secured” actually mean?

This error message is unusually vague for Windows 10. It generally indicates that your internet connection has dropped. It can also appear if you have a strong connection.

Are you confused?

This is not surprising. It seems that the error is intentionally vague. It doesn’t matter if your computer has an internet connection – it doesn’t matter if it is secure.

It can be seen on any Windows 10 device. However, it is most common on Microsoft Surface devices. It could happen regardless of whether your computer depends on an equivalent network card driver or driver. You may also see the error “No Internet, secured” in other circumstances.

How to fix the “No Internet, SECURED” error

There are several solutions to this problem. They depend on your computer setup and network adaptor. These fixes may not work for everyone. We’ve listed them as a probability, so you can just run through the ideas.

This list will give you an idea of the steps required to fix the “No Internet, Secured” error.

  1. Your VPN should be disabled
  2. Refresh the IP configuration
  3. Reset Windsock
  4. Verify the connection properties of your computer
  5. Disable IPv6
  6. Update the network driver
  7. Run Network troubleshooter

Before you attempt to correct the error, take the time to carefully read through the steps.

1. 1. Disable your VPN

You think your computer is connected to the wifi network. But then, you are shocked to see the “No Internet, Secured” error.

Don’t worry. This problem can be caused by the VPN client’s security features. The kill-switch, which is designed to disconnect you when the VPN server goes down, is a common example.

To check if this is often the matter, disable your VPN (using the disconnect function) or maybe exit it entirely. Next, use the flash function to reconnect to your internet and visit a website that is frequently updated–perhaps a news page.

If everything works, the problem was with the VPN server. You’ve corrected the problem if everything is working as it should. If possible, update your VPN client and then connect to a replacement VPN server.

2. 2.Refresh the Windows 10 IP configuration

Are you not using a VPN?

Several commands can be used to help you change it. Right-click Start and then choose Windows PowerShell. Enter the following commands:

ipconfig/release

ipconfig /renew

Your computer will then request a new IP address from the router. This may fix the problem in many cases.

3. Reset Winsock

Resetting Winsock is another solution to the “No Internet secure” error.

Winsock is not a feature of your local airport, but the Windows Sockets API. This specification is used to allow your computer to communicate with network services, such as the TCP/IP.

To reset Winsock, use.

Netsh Winsock catalog

Give it a second; if the Network does not automatically reconnect, you can manually do this.

4. Check Your PC’s Connection Properties

Are you still having trouble? Now it is time to check the network adaptor on your computer. Open the settings screen by clicking the wifi connection icon within the system tray, then Network & Internet Settings.

Click on the Change adaptor options button, then right-click the connection and click Properties. Confirm that the following are checked:

  • Microsoft Networks Client
  • Microsoft Networks File and Printer Sharing
  • Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
  • Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  • Discovery Responder for Link-layer Topology

To confirm, click OK. When prompted, restart Windows if you have made any changes.

5. 5. Disable IPv6

IPv6 is a network protocol that may be used to exchange IPv4 because it runs out of IP addresses. Although IPv6 should work on all hardware, errors can occur.

Repeat the previous steps to disable IPv6. To confirm your selection, uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (“TCP/IPv6). When prompted, restart your Windows 10 computer.

6. Update Your Network Device Driver

It’s worth updating your card as there is a chance that your driver for the network card might be guilty.

Right-click on Start, then choose Device Manager. Expand Network Adapters and select your network device. Next, right-click on Update Driver.

Wait for the driver to be updated and then restart Windows. Windows 10 should be able to connect with the Network if it succeeds.

If that fails, you can try Disable device, reboot your computer, and then Enable Device.

7. Run Network Troubleshooter in Windows 10

If you still receive the “No Internet security” error message, and your computer is not responding, please try these steps.

Windows 10 comes with many troubleshooting tools and software toolkits. These tools automatically detect errors and suggest fixes.

To open the Network Troubleshooter, launch it by pressing Win + I.SettingsThen, Network &Internet>Network troubleshooter.

To repair your network connection, follow the steps in the tool.
